These rods are designed specifically to fish spinnerbaits. They feature extra-fast tips to help improve accuracy and lower the trajectory on your casts. That means the wind has less affect on your bait. Most bass anglers understand what it means when a spinnerbait "parachutes". It has an extremely negative effect on distance as well as accuracy and it's inefficient as can be. These rods load effortlessly, allowing quick underhand snap casts so you can cover a lot of water. The other advantage of the extra-fast action is the power in the butt-section. The combination of accuracy and control embellished by the ability to control fish of any size in heavy cover give you an added advantage when you really need it. The standard spinnerbait rods feature our "fiber blend technology", Fuji guides and Fuji's ECS "exposed blank" trigger reel seat. The only exception is the SBR864C, which utilizes a much larger blank so it has a standard Fuji trigger reel seat. The GLX versions are much lighter and a lot more sensitive and feature RECOIL guides. Bass anglers are becoming more and more specialized in their sport. It makes sense to have a rod designed for each type of lure or technique. Spinnerbaits may be fished by more anglers than any other single bass lure. This is our best all around spinnerbait
action. It's designed to fish the heart of the spinnerbait sizes. It's a nice
combination of power and flexibility... not too stiff, not too soft. Short
casts, long casts, under cover, over cover... it doesn't matter. The GLX
model is extremely sensitive. You'll be able to tune in on the blades and
understand the difference between bumping a limb and having a bass subtly
suck in your bait.
